Homework: This week students need to turn in reading log to earn Pizza hut certificate.
Reading: Our story this week is called Lon Po Po.
Students will be doing a variety of assignments with this story. We will compare this story to Little Red Riding Hood. Students will be focusing on the main idea in their reading groups this week.
Language: Our class is working on looking up guide words in the dictionary.
Spelling: The third grade will be getting ready for our annual Spelling Bee. Information is in the homework folder this week. Please practice with your student.
Math: Students are finishing up passing of their multiplication facts this week. We will have our Banana split party on Feb 10th. Please help your student to be ready. We will continue working in our geometry chapter this week.
Cursive: Our class will finish up practicing our letters this week in cursive. We will start writing words and sentence in cursive next week.
Science: We have had a lot of fun on Simple Machines in our class. Thank you for helping your student to create and make a machine.
