Catch the Vision award

Curriculum Night coming up February 22^nd.

Reading: Our class is reading the story Coyote Places the Stars. It is a fun story with lots of activities. Students are continuing with the reading log I sent home in the homework folder. It will be returned on Jan. 26^th for a Pizza Hut Certificate.

Grammar: Our class will be working with adjectives this week.

Math: Our class is finishing up our multiplication facts. We will pass of 7’s this week. 8’s next week and the following week 12’s. We will have class competitions with the other third grade classes. We will schedule our Banana Split party for the second week in February.

Our class is working on Geometry chapter in math. Lines, Polygons, Angles etc. This week we will be focusing on Perimeter and Area.

Science: Simple Machines assignment is coming home to make.
