Picture Day 21st

Reading: Our class read is called “All About Sam”. Our reading groups have started and we are working towards our goal for reading.
Please read every night with your student and mark in on your homework
The story this week is called “The Olympic Dream”.
Math: Our class is working on a variety of concepts.
We are in chapter 2 Place Value. We are working on starting our multiplication using zero and ones.
Our class is learning how to use the math wall and practicing concepts.
Language: We have been practicing writing sentences and will start practicing paragraphs. Students are learning the language wall in class during our reading block.
Spelling: St, words and str words this week.
Grammar: Our class has been learning sentences, questions and using exclamation points.
Computers: Students are practicing keyboarding while recognizing letters.
Science: We are continuing in our heat unit in class.
