     Nov. 1^st to 11^th

Reading: Our story this week is called Rosie a Visiting Dog story. Students will due a variety of activities this week with Rosie.

Math: Our students will be testing on addition and starting regrouping in subtraction this week in class. We have also started passing of multiplication facts. This week we will be passing of our 9”s. Please help your student by working on facts with them nightly.

Writing: Students did a wonderful job on their Halloween stories. We had a lot of fun reading them in the dark. A special thanks to our visitors who scared the class.

Spelling: Students need to practice their spelling words we will be having words your way words in class as well. Please practice nightly.

Each student received their own dictionary from the rotary club. We will put them to use this month learning to look up words and their meanings.

Science:  Students are bringing home a moon calendar for the month. Students will record what kind the moon has each night by drawing a picture and labeling the moon. This assignment Nov. 22^nd.
