Calendar Dates:

February 13^th Simple Machine assignment due!

February 21^st. Multi Cultural Curriculum Night!

February 22^nd. Third grade program assembly

Math: Students are continuing to pass off multiplication facts in class. This week we are working on 7’s. Our class has is also working in the geometry chapter in math.

Reading: Our class is reading the story Lon Po Po.  Spelling words this week go with the story.

Science: Our new unit is on Simple Machines.

Students will have a homework assignment to create and build a simple machine at home. It’s a creative and fun experience. Students may choose the materials they want to use. Projects will be due on February 13^th.

Cursive: Students will finish completing the letters this week in class and will start connecting letters to form words.
